SMS Opt-In and Messaging

This page describes how Tech Jump collects and uses consent for SMS messaging on behalf of our client applications.

Who sends messages

Tech Jump operates a shared messaging platform that sends account and appointment-related SMS on behalf of multiple client applications (e.g. healthcare clinics, patient portals, and service apps). Messages are sent only to users who have opted in.

How consent is collected

Each client application (the "end business") is responsible for collecting opt-in from their users. Consent may be collected via:

  • Web forms (e.g. contact forms, questionnaires, or sign-up flows)
  • In-app checkboxes or consent language before submission
  • Reply to a short code or keyword (e.g. "Text YES to subscribe")

Tech Jump sends messages only after the end business has obtained consent and provided proof of that opt-in. We do not send marketing messages without explicit consent.

What users receive

Message types include account notifications, appointment reminders, follow-up questions after form submissions, and status updates. Message frequency varies by application and user action.

Opt-out and help

Users may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. For help, users may reply HELP. Message and data rates may apply. Supported by participating carriers. Your mobile data will not be sold or shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

Proof of consent

Proof of consent is collected and retained by each client application. Links to specific opt-in flows (e.g. client forms or sign-up pages) may be provided for verification purposes. This page serves as a general description of Tech Jump’s SMS opt-in practices and does not replace client-specific consent flows.

Tech Jump collects SMS opt-in on our Contact Us page via an optional checkbox and phone number field.
